FREE Healthy Kids Events Planned at YMCAs Fun runs encourage kids to get up and move Children and families are invited to the YMCA at Gothenburg Health, the Don Sjogren Community YMCA in Holdrege and the Orthman Community YMCA in Lexington for FREE Healthy Kids Day ® events in April. The Healthy Kids Day ® fun begins at the YMCA at Gothenburg Health (910 20th St.) on Wednesday, April 17, from 3-6 p.m. This event will include activities for kids and families, including vendor booths, games and other fun.

YMCAs Plan Three Pickleball Tournaments in April
YMCAs in Gothenburg, Lexington and Holdrege are bringing pickleball players from across the area together in April for a chance to compete in three tournaments. Tournaments start on Saturday, April 6, with the 3 rd Annual Spring Smash Pickleball Tournament at the Orthman Community YMCA in Lexington. Players should register by March 24. The tournament typically attracts more than 50 teams, including players from Grand Island, North Platte, Alliance and Elkhorn. Men’s and women’s doubles divisions
