Equipment Operator

The City of Holdrege is accepting applications for an Equipment Operator. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, hold a current CDL, or obtain one within six months of hire. Other qualifications include technical training and/or experience operating heavy equipment and a general knowledge of concrete road construction. Candidates for this position should enjoy working a variety of job assignments outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. A principled character and aptitude for maintaining productive working relationships with co-workers are a must. 
This position includes a 40-hour work week with the possibility of overtime on nights or weekends and a beginning salary of $18.66 to $27.46 per hour commensurate with experience. Benefits include paid vacation, sick leave, nine paid holidays, health insurance, life insurance and a retirement plan.
