    Swedish Days pays tribute to the Swedes who first settled the area. For the past 28 years, locals have been coming together for a weekend of fun, family and community spirit. The 29th Annual Swedish Days Celebration will be held Friday, June 15th & Saturday, June 16th in Holdrege! We are excited about the theme for this year’s Swedish Days ~ "Embrace the detours, Enjoy the journey!"

    Be sure to check out what is NEW this year! A full list of activities is inside. This family friendly fun weekend celebration has everything from Swedish heritage, reunions, a beauty contest, community meals, tournaments, local craft beer on tap, a 2mi fun run and a 5K and 10K race, ice cream, lots of LIVE music, kids activities, trackless train rides, a wonderful parade, free swimming, “toss your boss” freefall, street dance, BBQ competitions, beer Olympics, lots of delicious food, rock wall, free shuttle service, classic cars, motorcycles, dunk tanks, crafts and more!
