Iron Horse District

The Iron Horse District is a one mile area in downtown Holdrege with a mission to create a vibrant and attractive destination for residents and visitors and celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit and artistic roots of the community.

It will encourage lifelong learning through memorable experiences and immersive events, foster a sense of belonging, promote historical preservation, and create economic prosperity and sustainability.

Iron Horse Festival (September 14, 2024)

The Iron Horse Festival will be a signature multi-genre arts event spanning the entire creative district at various locations, culminating with live music in the evening. The daytime portion of the event will feature an expo with artists selling their work, demonstrations and workshops from arts and media professionals, live music at two stages, painting stations, selfie stations, and more! 

 

The Iron Horse Festival will feature an evening concert with Logan Mize, and performances by Luke Mills, and Savanna Chestnut! Join us on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 6:00 PM for a night of great music and fun. Tickets available here!

Road to Iron Horse (March-August 2024)

The Road to Iron Horse will be two “battle of the bands” events. Bands of any genre can sign up for this event. Bands face elimination over the course of the events and the winner of the final battle will open for the main acts at the Iron Horse Festival on September 14, 2024!
