AI Isn't Just for Big Business Anymore

Artificial intelligence has quickly become one of the most talked-about topics in business, but for many small business owners, it can still feel like something built for large companies with big budgets and dedicated technology teams.

The reality is much different.

Today, AI is becoming one of the most practical tools available for small businesses. It can help write social media posts, organize meeting notes, brainstorm marketing ideas, draft emails, create employee training materials, summarize long documents, and even help answer customer questions. Rather than replacing people, AI helps small teams accomplish more with the time they already have.

For rural businesses, that's especially important.

Many local businesses wear multiple hats every day. The owner might also be the marketer, bookkeeper, hiring manager, customer service representative, and social media coordinator. AI can help reduce the time spent on repetitive tasks, allowing business owners to focus on serving customers and growing their business.

Like any tool, however, AI is most effective when you know how to use it. Asking better questions, understanding its limitations, and learning practical applications can make the difference between a novelty and a valuable business resource.

That's why the Holdrege Area Chamber of Commerce is preparing to launch Small Business B(AI)sics, a free training program presented in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce with support from Google.

The program is designed for businesses of all sizes and experience levels. Whether you've never used AI before or you're looking to sharpen your skills, the sessions will focus on practical, real-world applications you can begin using immediately.

Best of all, the program will be free and open to everyone, not just Chamber members.

We're excited to share more details soon. If you'd like to learn more before the official announcement, we'd love to hear from you.
