Taxes, payroll, and bookkeeping can feel overwhelming, but A&L Complete Accounting Services was built to make those conversations easier. Owner Lauren Foy combines professional accounting services with a welcoming environment where clients can feel comfortable asking questions, solving problems, and planning for the future.
A&L Complete Accounting Services grew from both a personal journey and a community need. After returning to school to study business, Lauren noticed that local accounting professionals were becoming harder to find. She shifted her focus to accounting so she could help fill that gap and provide dependable financial services close to home.
Today, A&L offers tax preparation, payroll, bookkeeping, quarterly and annual reporting, and cost analysis for businesses considering new products or services. While tax preparation is an important part of the business, Lauren especially enjoys helping clients with their day-to-day accounting and payroll needs.
What truly sets A&L apart is the experience clients have from the moment they walk through the door. Lauren's background in hospitality management shaped the office into a warm, welcoming space with coffee, games for children, and a relaxed atmosphere. Her goal is simple: help people feel at ease when discussing finances.
That commitment continues long after a tax return is filed. Lauren works closely with clients when questions arise, helping them navigate IRS or state correspondence instead of leaving them to figure it out alone. She believes her responsibility is to stay with clients until their concerns are resolved.
A Comfortable Experience
The office was intentionally designed to feel more like a home than a financial office, helping clients feel relaxed while handling important financial matters.
Comprehensive Business Support
From bookkeeping and payroll to tax preparation and profitability analysis, A&L provides a wide range of accounting services for individuals and businesses.
Protection Beyond the Return
Clients have access to optional audit and identity theft protection through Lauren's professional tax software, adding another layer of confidence after filing.
For Lauren, community has always been at the heart of her business. After finding support and a fresh start in Holdrege more than two decades ago, she has remained committed to giving back to the place she now calls home.
She regularly supports fellow local businesses and has built strong relationships with neighboring businesses and clients alike. One day each week, she closes her office to volunteer her time helping disabled and terminal veterans and their spouses with cleaning, errands, and other practical needs. It is a tradition she has continued for 25 years.
Lauren hopes every client leaves with more than completed paperwork. She wants them to feel cared for, supported, and confident that someone is looking out for their best interests.
As Lauren puts it, "I try to live my life being kind, because you never know what somebody's going through."
