Press Release

Allmand (located in Holdrege), in collaboration with the Generac Foundation, recently made a $5,000 donation to Phelps County Emergency Management to support and expand the public safety drone program. The funding will be used to purchase equipment that enhances the ability to conduct search and rescue operations, document crash scenes, and assist with emergency response throughout Phelps County. Drone technology provides aerial imagery and real-time situational awareness, allowing first responders to locate missing persons more quickly, safely document and map traffic crash scenes for reconstruction, and assess hazardous or difficult-to-access areas without placing personnel at unnecessary risk.

You can contact Justin Norris for more information about the drone program.
