Holdrege Area Chamber of Commerce Announces CEO Transition

HOLDREGE, NE, July 31, 2026 — The Holdrege Area Chamber of Commerce announced  today that CEO Lori Larson has resigned, effective August 18, 2026, following five years of  leadership. During her tenure, the Chamber moved to a tiered membership model,  launched the SPARK gift card program and the Discover 37 app, introduced LeadWell: A Mindset Leadership Program, and grew Midsummer Festival, a Swedish Days Tradition, and Holdrege for the Holidays into two of the region's signature community events. The Chamber was also an instrumental partner in forming the Holdrege Area Early  Childhood Partnership and the Iron Horse Arts District, both of which continue that work today as independent organizations.

“We want to thank Lori for her dedication and effort to HACC that allowed for great  growth and stable fiscal stewardship,” said Jason Sidel, President of the HACC Board of  Directors.

The Board of Directors is beginning the process of determining the Chamber's next  leadership steps and expects to share additional information soon. The Chamber's  Communications and Events Coordinator, Adam Hernandez, and Office and Finance  Coordinator, Deanna Henderson, will continue supporting members and community  programs throughout the transition.
