Holdrege Area Early Childhood Partnership Awards $5,000 Key for Kids Grant to Support Loving Care Early Learning Center Relocation
Holdrege, NE – The Holdrege Area Early Childhood Partnership has awarded $5,000 through its Key for Kids Grant, funded by the community’s August 1st, 2025 fundraising event, Keys for Kids, to support Loving Care Early Learning Center as it has moved to a new facility.
The center’s move required updates to ensure the new location met all state licensing requirements. Grant funds—up to $5,000—were used to purchase essential items needed for licensing compliance, allowing the center to reopen safely and continue serving families in our community.
“We are so grateful for the community’s support of our annual fundraising event,” said McKenna Fahrenbruch, Executive Director. “Because of that generosity, we are able to step in during critical moments and help local childcare providers continue offering safe, high-quality care to the families who rely on them.”
Center Director, Jessica Russell from Loving Care Early Learning Center shared, “We are incredibly grateful for HAECP’s belief in and partnership of our mission to continue to provide childcare services for the community at the Methodist Church!”
The Holdrege Area Early Childhood Partnership created the Key for Kids Grant to provide assistance to childcare programs facing unexpected needs, growth, or transitions. The grant aims to keep childcare providers stable, sustainable, and fully equipped to meet state standards and the needs of local families.
The partnership extends heartfelt appreciation to all donors, sponsors, and attendees of the July fundraising event. We also look forward to continuing our relationship at our next Keys for Kids event on July 31st.
