Iron Horse Arts District Announces ‘Art After Dark’ on January 31

Holdrege, Neb. — The Iron Horse Arts District invites the community to step into a night of creativity, celebration, and glamour at Art After Dark: A Roaring 20s Affair, a brand-new signature event taking place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Holdrege City Auditorium.

Art After Dark is an immersive evening designed to celebrate the artists, patrons, and sponsors who have supported the Iron Horse Arts District during its first two years, while welcoming new friends into the district’s next chapter. Guests are encouraged to embrace the event’s Roaring ’20s–inspired theme by dressing in vintage-inspired attire or in black, white, or gold for a festive and elegant night out.

The evening will feature live painting by artist Jeremy Hansen, offering guests the opportunity to experience art being created in real time, along with live jazz music from the Flatwater Little Big Band. A catered dinner will be provided by Heidi Amelang of HA Catering, with drinks available for purchase from The Drive. The event will also include art-inspired silent and live auctions, adding to the interactive and creative atmosphere of the evening.

“Art After Dark is a celebration of creativity and community,” said Cassie Ehrenberg, Executive Director of the Iron Horse Arts District. “It’s a chance to gather, experience the arts in a new way, and celebrate the people who make this work possible.”

Advance tickets (or RSVPs for donors and sponsors receiving tickets) are required. Individual tickets are $40, with tables of 12 available for $450. All tickets and RSVPs must be confirmed by Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
