Holdrege, Neb. — March 18, 2026 — The Nebraska Prairie Museum welcomed a full and enthusiastic audience for its most recent Prairie Program, featuring Humanities Nebraska speaker Darrel Draper. Draper delighted attendees with a charismatic and winding journey through the history of the Statue of Liberty, tracing the monument’s origins, the passionate individuals behind its creation, and the remarkable effort that brought this iconic symbol of freedom to life.
