Phelps County Community Foundation Grant Helps Iron Horse Arts District Advance Gallery Project
HOLDREGE, Neb. — Iron Horse Arts District, a nonprofit arts organization serving the Holdrege community and the surrounding region, is pleased to announce it has received a $5,000 grant from the Phelps County Community Foundation (PCCF) in support of the Iron Horse Art Gallery project. The funding represents a meaningful vote of confidence in Iron Horse’s vision to create a dedicated, accessible space for the arts in Holdrege.
The Iron Horse Art Gallery project, currently in progress, aims to establish a permanent gallery space where local and regional artists can exhibit their work, community members can engage with the arts, and where creativity can take root and grow. The gallery is envisioned as a hub for artistic expression — a place that reflects the culture, stories, and people of this region.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Phelps County Community Foundation for their support of this project,” said Cassie Ehrenberg, Executive Director of Iron Horse Arts District. “This grant brings us one step closer to making the Iron Horse Art Gallery a reality — a space where art can be experienced, celebrated, and shared by everyone in our community.”

While the PCCF grant is a significant milestone, Iron Horse is still actively seeking additional funders and partners to fully realize the Iron Horse Art Gallery project.
